Through Neighborheart™, we foster an ongoing campaign of Autism Awareness and Compassion. Through Awareness and Compassion we provide for the education of the community at large, including:

• family members
• fellow students
• teachers
• aides
• other providers (e.g., bus drivers and volunteers)

Through this education plan, we do not wish to "label" anyone, but to point out that differences are OK and that everyone should accept everyone else even though we all are different.

Education Plan
Currently, we are developing an education plan for schools to allow for a more integrated and accepting environment. The main goal of this plan is to fulfill the following needs:

• a true integration of children of all needs
• an acceptance of everyone's differences
• adult facilitation of relationships
• staff training
• student education
• family support and involvement
